I give you props for sticking up for your paycheck each week, but come on, they didn’t invent the wheel. Led sled should of Patented there design but chose not to just like the kick lever they built, that got ripped off by someone else. There will always be someone bigger better and badder that comes along and there is no stopping it from happening. I keep that to myself for my gain, because paying 30 bucks in materials versus 350-600 bucks is the reason i don’t want to get ripped. I have improved on my design over the years and Guarantee that I have a better design, that’s easier to weld on than having to unbolt the back motor mounts and chop that whole factory assembly apart, like Led and TC design. Still have it and have done many tails for people over the years. First, I had to build the jig to even begin to think about hard tailing it without a kit from a company.

It looked exactly like Led Sleds design, Plus people have been doing it since the 70’s. I hard tailed a 86 sporty, 20 years ago well before led sled came along. Jen, I don’t think there is a Authority when it comes to chops. TC Bros has “designed” (stolen?) a hardtail that does nothing but show they have no imagination of their own. While we realize other shops also offer a Sportster hardtail conversion, these shops have at least changed their design enough to make it their own. We have sold our hardtails all over Europe, Asia, North America, Australia, and New Zealand.

I find it interesting how the TC Bros NEW hardtail kit for Sportsters was “designed using the latest 3D CAD Software and is built right here in the USA using a precision made, 100% CNC Machined Welding fixture for a great fit” yet looks EXACTLY like our hardtail kit which we have been making since 2004 (picture attached). The company also provides many other parts to build your custom rigid Sportster: battery boxes, oil tanks, seats, lighting accessories, etc. The Company has been fabricating hardtail kits for the past 7 years. Due to stretch, a longer chain or belt (137 tooth belt) is required. Hardtail incorporates 2” of stretch and 4” of ground clearance for a great looking stance with a stock length front end. Works great with your stock wheel, tire, brake, axle, spacers, etc. The TC Bros kit is sold with easy to follow and detailed installation instructions as well as mounting hardware.
